Venice is a tourism and industrial city in northeastern Italy. It is a city sited on a group of 118 small islands separated by canals and linked by bridges. Venice is renowned for the beauty of its setting, its architecture and its artworks. People would like to call it “The Queen of Adriatic Sea ”, “Watertown”, “Bridgetown”, “The City of Canal”,  and “The City of Light”, etc.

威尼斯是位于意大利东北部著名的旅游与工业城市。118个小岛坐落于运河和大桥之间。威尼斯因其美丽的风光，别具特色的建筑和其蕴含历史的艺术品而闻名于世。
别名“亚得里亚海的女王”、“水之都”、 “桥之城”、 “运河之城”、及“光之城”。

小编心语：
初识威尼斯，还是因为儿时课本上的那篇文章《威尼斯的小艇》。当时真心是充满各种好奇，看到那样一个奇特的水上城市，怎能不倾心向往呢？而后是那篇可谓“家喻户晓“的文章《威尼斯商人》，这次，我看到的更多的是它内心深处的沉思。现在，似乎又回归到对这个水之都古老韵味的迫切憧憬中。在你的心中，是否也有着这样的憧憬呢？
